How Scary is Fear Factory 501?

Fear Factory 501 is designed to push your limits. This is a full-scale haunted experience built inside the remains of an old industrial plant — complete with darkness, disorientation, live actors, and moments of full-blown terror. It’s intense, immersive, and meant for those seeking the scariest haunted house near Jacksonville. Not recommended for the faint of heart.

What else is there to do at Fear Factory 501?

Beyond the haunted house itself, we offer five pulse-pounding escape rooms onsite. Each room traps you inside a 15-minute mini-nightmare — solve your way out before time runs out… or be consumed by the factory forever.
Escape Room Price: $10 per player (Available only at the gate — arrive early to secure your spot.)

And if you make it out alive, refuel at our snack bar, featuring hot dogs, nachos, sodas, and candy to calm your nerves. No guarantees it won’t turn your stomach afterward.

Is Fear Factory 501 suitable for kids or families?

This attraction is intense and may not be appropriate for younger guests. We recommend ages 13 and up, but parents can use their discretion. There’s no extreme gore — but there is plenty of fear.

Do the actors touch you during the haunted house?

No. Our actors will get close — but they do not touch you, and you should not touch them. The fear comes from immersive sets, sound, lighting, and performance — not physical contact.

How long does the experience last from start to finish?

Most guests spend 20–30 minutes inside the attraction, depending on pace. Lines may vary on peak nights — arrive early & get a ticket.

Are there VIP or Fast Pass tickets available?

Yes. we offer fast Pass tickets for priority entry and shorter wait times. These sell out quickly on busy nights.

Is Fear Factory 501 wheelchair accessible? Can I enter if I’m wearing a cast or using crutches?

Parts of the factory are accessible, but the attraction includes tight corridors, low lighting, fog, and uneven surfaces. We advise caution and recommend contacting us ahead of time if you have mobility concerns.

Are there medical or health warnings I should know about (anxiety, heart, etc.)?

Yes. Fear Factory 501 features intense lighting, loud sound effects, fog, strobe lights, and emotionally distressing scenes. Not recommended for individuals with heart conditions, epilepsy, severe anxiety, or similar medical concerns. Enter at your own risk.

Are refunds offered?

All ticket sales are final. We do not offer refunds for any reason — including if you’re too scared to finish. You paid for fear… and you’ll get it.

Can we wear costumes?

Guests may wear costumes, but masks, weapons (real or fake), or full-face coverings are not allowed for safety reasons. Our team needs to see you clearly — especially when things get chaotic.
